Katie has been working at Stevens & Co. since the Fall of 2014. She has a great love for Montana having grown up in Missoula. She enjoys getting to explore our great state through her work. She received her Certified General Appraisal License with the State of Montana in 2017 and became a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in 2021.
Before working at Stevens & Co., Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Providence. After her graduation, Katie joined the Peace Corps and was placed in Azerbaijan for two years working on youth and community development. Her work in community development has been invaluable to her personal and professional career. When she returned to Missoula after living abroad, she worked as the Development Coordinator for Garden City Harvest before realizing she could also have a positive community impact from the private sector.
When Katie is not in the office, you can find her adventuring in the mountains or working at her homestead with her husband, Thomas, along with their many animals. She is also a board member with United Way of Missoula County & is the Chair of United Way’s Live United Committee.

Tom is the founder of Stevens & Co. After graduating from the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, he began his appraisal career in the banking industry of Oklahoma in 1971. He moved back to Missoula in 1978 to further pursue his appraisal career. Stevens & Co. is an outgrowth of a partnership with C. Robert White, MAI, in 1978, after White-Stevens, Ltd. was dissolved, and Mr. White’s interest was purchased.
Tom currently holds two designations from the Appraisal Institute; MAI (Member of Appraisal Institute) and SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser). He has been appointed by two Governors to the State of Montana’s Board of Real Estate Appraisers and served as Chairman all nine years. He also is certified to perform Conservation Easement appraisal reports.
Tom has been a member of the Missoula International Airport Board of Directors, serving a tenure of 10 years, and elected Chairman twice. Tom also serves as the President of the Montana Eye Endowment Foundation, which promotes eyesight wellness and funds research for vision-related diseases.
Tom has numerous hobbies outside of Stevens & Co. but is very involved with his numerous collector automobiles and is a licensed private pilot, airplane owner, and certified scuba diver. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and his entire family, but most importantly, his two grandchildren.
I've enjoyed working for Stevens & Co. for over 15 years.

Kyle A. DeGryse

Kyle has been working at Stevens & Co. since October of 2017. He is currently an appraiser trainee, pursuing his Certified General Appraisal License with the State of Montana, through the mentorship of Thomas G. Stevens, MAI, SRA.
Kyle is originally from Michigan and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, located in Midland, Michigan. He relocated to Missoula in 2014 and learned the ins and outs of our town by working for the Missoulian before starting at Stevens & Co.
He enjoys all of the recreational activities that our great state provides. He loves playing hockey, skiing, hiking, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Bekah and son, Karson.
Amir Rosenthal
Appraiser Trainee

Amir has been working for Stevens & Co. since June 2022. He is currently an Appraiser Trainee under Thomas G. Stevens, MAI, SRA.
Before working at Stevens & Co., he received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and Geographic Information Systems from Colorado State University. During college, Amir spent time working abroad in New Zealand. After college he worked in Glacier National Park before moving to Missoula year-round. During his time in Glacier, Amir worked as the Assistant Program Director at the Glacier Institute, as well as a tour guide driving the historic red busses. After many years in the service industry in Montana, Amir is excited to be working in commercial real estate appraisal.
Amir loves being in the outdoors of Montana, skiing, rafting, mountain biking, and hiking with his wife and daughter.
Becky Love
Office Manager
Becky has been working with Stevens & Co. since June of 2022. With over 20 years of office experience, she is excited to have the opportunity to serve such a great firm. As the office manager she will be the voice you hear when you call and the smile greeting you as you enter the building. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations, accounting, payroll, and anything else she can do to help her co-workers. Becky recently moved to Missoula from Laurel and is excited to be in a city with so much to explore!
When not at work, she enjoys perusing vintage shops, tending to her extensive plant collection, and writing. Becky’s ultimate day is being out in nature with her two daughters, Addi and Kara, along with their dog, Lucy
Monk
Office Greeter
Grounds Manager
Monk started at Stevens & Co. in October 2021. He is a Golden Aussie (Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd) that is responsible for office greeting, treat inspection and grounds management.
When Monk is not in the office, he is hunting in the hills for antlers, 4wheeling, kayaking, or rounding up the homestead animals.
Lucy
Monk’s Assistant
Lucille Ricardo, aka Lucy, is Monk’s assistant. Lucy started at Stevens & Co. in July 2022. She is an American Cocker Spaniel that is responsible for retrieving all toys and playing with Monk.
When away from the office, Lucy likes to lay in the sun, play fetch, and take long walks along the river.
